What's classed as a local move?
A local move typically refers to any relocation within the same city or metropolitan area. These moves are generally completed in a single day and don't involve crossing state lines.
Do you handle apartment moves?
Yes, we specialize in apartment relocations. Our team is experienced in navigating the unique challenges of apartment buildings, including tight hallways, stairwells, and elevator access. We also have Certificates of Insurance (COI) on file with most major properties we serve.
Can you move my business?
Yes, we provide professional office and commercial moving services. Our team is trained to handle office furniture, equipment, and tech with care while minimizing downtime. We work around your schedule to ensure your business operations stay on track during the transition.
Do you handle senior living moves?
Yes, we specialize in compassionate and patient moving services for seniors and their families. We understand these moves often involve emotional transitions and downsizing, and we take the time to ensure every step is handled with respect and care. Senior discounts are also available.
Am I protected against loss or damaged goods while in transit?
Yes, but the amount of protection you have and its cost depend upon the “valuation” program you choose: Full-Value Coverage or Released Rate Liability (60 cents per pound per article).
What should I expect on my moving day?
Your moving team will arrive at the agreed-upon time. Then, you can supervise as they move all of your boxes, furniture, and other items into a moving truck. Once all of your stuff has been moved into the truck, you will be responsible for the final cleanup of your home – this is not typically included in moving service.
Once your movers have finished moving all your stuff into the truck, we highly recommend that you walk through your home one last time to make sure that everything you are moving has been picked up and taken to the truck. This ensures there are no boxes or furniture that are accidentally left behind!
Do you offer a full-service packing crew?
Yes, we offer packing services. We are a full-service moving company and offer a packing crew. However, our moving crews cannot do any packing on the day of the move. Please contact us if you would like more information or to schedule a full-service packing crew to assist you.
What's classed as a long-distance move?
A long-distance move involves relocation between cities, across regions, or to another state entirely. These moves require more planning, logistics, and licensing. We’re fully licensed for interstate transport and equipped to manage every aspect of your long-distance move.
Do you handle condo moves?
Absolutely. We understand that condo moves often come with HOA rules, reserved time slots, and building-specific moving policies. Our team works directly with building management to ensure compliance with all requirements.
Can you handle employee relocations?
Yes, we offer employee relocation services for businesses of all sizes. Whether you're supporting a new hire or relocating a key team member, we provide a smooth and stress-free experience that reflects well on your company and supports your team’s success.
Can you move military families?
Yes, we proudly serve military families relocating on their own. Our team understands the unique timing and requirements of military moves, and we offer discounted rates as a small thank-you for your service. Whether you're moving locally or across state lines, we’re here to make it easier.
Do you bill in hourly increments or prorate?
Our quotes are general estimates and are non-binding and merely an approximation of the cost and time estimate of your move. You are not required to sign the estimate as the move may go over or under the estimated time.
What should I expect on a local move day?
For short-distance local moves, you’ll just meet the movers at your new home, and they will begin unloading your stuff. For long-distance moves, it may take a few days before your items arrive, but the process will be the same. Whether you fly or drive independently, you’ll meet your movers at your new home at the specified time and date – and your stuff will be unloaded and brought into your home.
